Celebrate your Monday with Paris Metro Couture, Beloved Body Wrap, and KaTink!

I feel sorry for Monday.  No one really looks forward to Monday.  So, I'm giving you a reason to celebrate Monday by giving you a peek at recent releases from Paris METRO Couture, BELOVED Body Wrap, and KaTink!

Paris METRO Couture's recent release is a stunning formal named Celebrate.  The gorgeous creation is composed of mesh and delicately flowing material at the bottom to add grace and elegance as you move.  This is a dream of creation which you will cherish!

Next Stop....Designer Circle

There is something about trains that have always fascinated me!  As a child I would count the cars and waved to the man in the caboose.  Of course, most trains don't have a caboose anymore; however, I still hold the memory close.

When I saw the Cecile dress and the matching shoes, darling hat, and leather bag from Amarelo Manga at Designer Circle, I knew I had to take a ride on a train!  The classic design of the creations made me think of the elegance of the antique travel cars.

I also picked up up the beautiful Greta skin from WoW Skins at Designer Circle, and the lovely Kendra shape from Anna Shapes at Designer Circle.  I think they made a charming look!

After your trip to Designer Circle, take some time to enjoy a train ride.  I highly suggest the train station of Southern Tier New York!

Dear Readers,

     Thank you for your prayers and well wishes while I have been away to be with my grandmother and family.  Sadly, my grandmother passed away on January 25, 2014 from pancreatic cancer.  It was difficult to watch her slip away from us; however, I was given the opportunity to tell her that I loved her before her passing.  Not everyone is given that gift.

Tempting Treasures from Designer Circle

I am so excited to show you the treasures I picked up at Designer Circle!  There were so many tempting creations; however, I limited myself to just a few items today.  Of course, I'm certain I will return soon to pick up the other items which caught my eye and show them to you!

Amarelo Manga at Designer Circle tempted me with the classic design and detail of the Luara dress and matching boots!  The creations are sold separtely for only L$100 each; however, I am certain you will want them both as they coordinate so well! Plus, the boots will be a perfect addition to your fall wardrobe!

I also found the lovely Delora shape from Anna Shapes at Designer Circle!  As always, the shape is beautifully created and exquisite in porportion and detail! The shape is copy and modify, and it is available for only L$80!

Also shown in the photo above is the stunning Fay skin from WoW Skins!  The skin is the November group gift, and you can pick it up at the WoW Skins main store!  Of course, you can also nab the past group gifts while you are there!  There is a L$300 fee to join; however, the Fay skins and past group gifts more than compensates you for the joining fee!

In the Outback

I'm so excited to show you the creations I found from Paris Metro Couture in Sydney City, Artistry by ~E~  and D!va Hair at the Hair Fair!

After doing some reading on Uluru, I decided to travel to Australia to photograph the build while wearing a fashion tribute by Paris Metro Couture.  The gorgeous Uluru Dreams gown can be found at the Sydney City location for only L$10 as part of the When Pigs Fly Hunt!  You'll want to be quick nabbing the prize because the hunt ends on July 21st!

After putting on the gown, I decided to wear the stunning Mazu jewelry set from Artistry by ~E~ and the Clea hair from D!va at the Hair Fair!  I loved the colors of the jewelry with the gown, and the hair seemed to fit the freedom I felt while visiting Uluru.

The Unknown Hunt -- Ending Soon

Hello!  If you had not heard, I have been offline due to a fire at my home.  The cause was an electrical issue in the crawlspace of the house.  Needless to say, it was horribly frightening to wake up to smoke filling the house; however, I am so very thankful the fire was quickly extinguished so no one was hurt (not even the pets) and there was only minor damage to the house.  The lesson I learned to pass on to you is to check your fire alarms!

Indyra Originals -- Three Releases to Love

When one thinks of fashion creators in Second Life, Indyra Seigo is at the top of the list!  The designs at Indyra Originals are undoubtedly some of the most fashionably unique creations on the grid.  If you have not visited Indyra Originals lately, I have three designs which will have you rushing to the entrance of the main store!

There is something for every budget at Indyra Originals! I found the Fallon outfit for only L$100 during my recent visit!  This outfit includes the jacket, leggings, belt, and the lace choker with brooch.  I love this creation for it's modern interpretation on a Victorian era style! 

If you love glamour, you'll love Garbo!  The beautifully feminine outfit includes the blouse, slacks, gloves, and the top hat for only L$495!  This outfit is a styling dream!  It can be paired with draping necklaces, brooches, and so many other accessories!  I look forward to seeing what others create from this elegant design!

Hair Fair 2012 -- Sneak Peeks

Hair Fair2012 starts tomorrow and there are so many creators who are participating to support the charity Wigs for Kids that it will bring tears to your eyes!

Each creator is donating a portion of the sales from their vendors at the Hair Fair to  Wigs for Kids .  Some vendors have different percentage amounts for different styles, and some creators are donating a flat percentage for each sale.  The amounts posted in each creator booth range from a generous 15% to a heart-warming and tear jerking 100%!

For example, D!va is donating 15% of each sale to Wigs for Kids ; furthermore, D!va is also very generously donating 100% of the sales from Vivienne - Type B to  Wigs for Kids ! Mesh Releases from [Echo]

Today was the perfect day for sailing!  The breeze was lovely, the sun was warm, and I had two mesh outfits from  [Echo]  perfect for the outing!

The first outfit I wore from [Echo] was a delightful jumper! The classy and stylish flare of the jumper was made even more attractive by the bright colors of the material.  Of course, I couldn't resist pairing it with the Minute Mesh Hat to help shade my face while on the water.  I'll be honest, I adore the hat!  Hats can be such a wonderful accessory!  While wearing it, I was reminded of the movie "Sabrina."

The jumper and hat are also very affordable, the jumper is only L$200 and available in nine color combinations, and the hat is only L$40 and available in seven vibrant colors.

I also chose to wear [Echo] 's Minor Dress with the Plated Necklace during part of my outing.  The strapless dress was perfect for the warm day!  I really love the shimmery material, and the design of the dress is divine!!

New Release from Entre Mares!

I'm so excited to be back to blogging!  After my last post I experienced some computer difficulties and it took some time to find a new system which fit in a budget for the unexpected purchase.  I want to thank everyone for communicating their concern and support while I was offline. 

Now, for the post! 

Before my Second Life was rudely interrupted by technical difficulties, I came across an exquisite gown from Entre Mares titled Lynn that I simply adore!  It is unmistakably clear Sykao Adamski, owner and designer of Entre Mares, spent a great deal of time creating Lynn from the alluring bust design to the elegant train.  This sensually feminine creation was designed to captivate and entice with it's flowing delicacy and rich detail.

The gorgeous design inspires and tempts the imagination, and the shoulder attachment adds a romantically seductive air while dancing and strolling. 

I'm sure you will fall in love with this stunning creation by Entre Mares!   Lynn can currently be found in the new release section of the main store and is available in white, beige, and pink for only L$800.  That is an unbelievable bargain for the beautifully created gown!

Gift from AlterEgo -- Flowa Powa

I really feel for Toxxic Rhiannyr, owner and designer of AlterEgo.  Due to lack of communication of a hunt coordinator, Toxxic withdrew AlterEgo from a hunt for which she had already created an amazing prize.  I can't imagine her frustration over the issue.  Nor can I imagine the time and effort she put into creating the prize. 

Not only do I feel for Toxxic, I have even more respect for her as a designer and business woman.  She could have sold Flowa Powa, the item created for the hunt, to gain some monetary compensation for her time and frustration; however, as Flowa Powa was to be a free prize in the hunt, she gave the item to her group members through a notice and also set it out as a free gift to the public.  I think that decision deserves a round of applause!

Of course, Flowa Powa is also deserving of a round of applause!  The adorably sexy outfit includes the top, skirt, boots, fishnet covers, gloves, bracelets, and the totally cute backpack!  You couldn't ask for more from an outfit!
