Blog Turns 1 Year -- Celebrating with AlterEgo

It's hard for me to believe that my blog turns one year old today!  I have learned so much, and have met so many wonderful people during this journey.

One year ago, my journey began with the BlackOut event at AlterEgo.  I thought it fitting to return to my blogging roots with blogging my finds during this year's BlackOut event!  Of course, the decision wasn't a hard one to make since the event is one huge party complete with amazing music, fantastic company, shopping, and irresistible prizes!

100th Post & Accessories Hunt Prizes -- Jewellery Exchange & Always Eclectic

I'm so excited!  This is my 100th post!  It doesn't seem like I've done that many, but the stats tell me it is so!  I want to quickly thank my friends, groups, and creators who have supported me and my blog!  I could not have done any of this without you!  Thank you so very much!

And now....the post! 

I found two more treasures to tell you about from the Accessories Hunt!  If you are a fan of emerald and jade, I'm sure you will love them as much as I!

The first prize is from The Jewellery Exchange and it is a Gothic crucifix of onyx and emerald.  This is truly a very lovely piece, and very carefully detailed!  I really adore the delicate features of this creation, and I'm sure I'll be wearing it often!

One of the many group gifts I found at Mimi's Choice was an exquisite dress from Gizza.  I was breathless when I put on the creation!  I think you will agree, the vibrant colors and the beautiful design of this dress are simply gorgeous!  And yes, it was free group gift!

As I was roaming, I was thrilled to find a free high-neck sweater from Gabriel!  When I opened the package,  I was so excited to see there were actually three sweaters and was shocked that the sleeveless and the long sleeved versions came in two different lengths! To add to the pleasure of finding the gift, the stunning necklace is included! What an amazing gift!

To add to my delight, not far from where I found the sweater, I discovered a pair of pants from SF Design which were free!  The chino pants have two variations for your styling pleasure, and the detail is unbelievable!  You really don't want to miss out on placing this gift in your closet!

AlterEgo -- Adorable Mesh Creations & Poll

There is a poll running on the AlterEgo site regarding feelings on mesh designs.  I think this is a great idea, because there are various feelings about mesh creations.  So, now is your chance to make your feelings known by voting in the poll!

As for my feelings on mesh, when the designs are great, I love it!  Toxxic Rhiannyr, owner and designer of AlterEgo , has released several fantabulous mesh creations recently and I am thrilled to share a few of my favorites.  Both designs are fun and flirty, and the blocking of the colors is a perfect way to set off the style of the dresses.

On the left is Delight and it is available in blue, pink, purple, red, grey, and yellow for only L$250 each! Also for L$250 each is Gumdrop, and it is available in teal, purple, red, white, black, lime, pink, indigo, blue, and green. Three Wonderful Finds!

As much as it saddens me to hear about the closing of Aleida, I have to be happy for Aleida Rhode for pursing a new career in real life.  The business will close on June 23rd and that means you have a limited amount of time to make your last purchases from  Aleida at very generous discounts. 

I purchased several items at Aleida today, but I fell in love with the classiness and elegance of a dress titled "Be My Date".  The dress is available in plum, red, olive, mustard, copper, and black for only L$100!  The black lace layer of the creation is a lovely accent, and I adore the sash and bow at the waist!  This design is perfect for almost any occasion and is very versatile depending on the accessories you wear with it!

As for my choice of accessories, I chose to wear the Adrienne jewelry set from Stars! for my outing at the theater.   This set of pearls is absolutely stunning!  The Adrienne set includes the beautiful earrings, bracelets, and pearl necklace!  This set makes me question if diamonds really are a girls best friend!

The last beautiful find from my outing today is the Alexia skin from Essences.  I was told about this skin from a contact on Facebook.  I wondered if the skin was still free as her entry was several days old.  As luck would have it, when I visited the Essences main store today, the skin was still available for free!  Plus, not only is the Alexia skin free, the skin package includes the cleavage option, cute mole tattoo, eye lashes tattoo, and two freckle tattoos!
