Analog Flashback

I confess, I remember when Atari was new and Pac Man was the most popular game to play!  Saying that, I flashed back to fond memories of playing video games at the arcade in the mall when I saw the fabulously fun 8 Bit Bow from no. 7 at Level Up!  There are nine fun colors available!  When you make your purchase, you'll be thrilled to find that you receive a hair bow and a bow tie for only L$50!  If you have not visited the Level Up event, please hurry.  I visited today and items are still out; however, I believe it is technically over.

Speaking of video games, when I played Mrs. Pac Man, I loved when Pac Man and Mrs. Pac Man meet for a smooch.  When they kissed, a little heart appeared.  That is what I thought of when I saw Pixel Love from AlterEgo!  I simply adore this creation not only for taking me back to my childhood, but also because it is expertly textured and fun in it's styling!

The Pixel Love sweater is available in black, white, baby blue, and pink for only L$125 each.  However, you can save some lindens and purchase the fat pack for only L$420!

During my exploration of the store, I found the fetching Legacy Denims, and the delightful Queeny sneakers!  When you go to the footwear department, make sure to check out the roller skates, I almost wore them for this post!

Being Cinderella

Every woman deserves to be treated like a fairy tale princess!  Fairy tale dreams of being Cinderella can come true with the releases from WoW Skins, Anna Shapes, Elemental Jewelry, and Snowpaws!

To begin my fairy tale princess look, I chose the lovely Riwen skin from WoW Skins at Designer Circle and the captivating Christie shape from Anna Shapes at Designer Circle!  I think the two creations compliment each other beautifully, don't you?

Next, I added the gorgeous Ariadne jewelry collection from Elemental Jewelry!  The exquisitely designed texture change set is available in red, blue, green, and gold.  Each stone color set has several stone, metal, and gem options!  You may also adjust the shine, brightness, and glow from the touch menu!  Every princess needs these jewels in her royal collection!

At last it was time to choose the gown fit for a fairy tale ending!  I stopped by Snowpaws to select my gown.  It was a difficult decision, but I finally chose the charming Flor Gown!  The enchanting gown is composed of a mesh skirt, flexi-skirt, and sculpted bodice!  The exquisite gown is available in original, violet, sea green, and light pink!

Take a Little Trip

Traveling in Second Life is one of the most wonderful experiences!  After a hectic weekend, I was looking for a calm and serene place to contemplate events, and was happy to find Leesann.

Of course, when traveling, you want to be comfortable and fashionable!  That look is sometimes difficult; however, the Latifah dress from Amarelo Manga makes both desires easy to achieve!

Happy Birthday to Me!

So, today is my birthday and I have some birthday gifts to show you!!  I've split my gifts into a couple of posts, so be sure to check back later today!

Next Stop....Designer Circle

There is something about trains that have always fascinated me!  As a child I would count the cars and waved to the man in the caboose.  Of course, most trains don't have a caboose anymore; however, I still hold the memory close.

When I saw the Cecile dress and the matching shoes, darling hat, and leather bag from Amarelo Manga at Designer Circle, I knew I had to take a ride on a train!  The classic design of the creations made me think of the elegance of the antique travel cars.

I also picked up up the beautiful Greta skin from WoW Skins at Designer Circle, and the lovely Kendra shape from Anna Shapes at Designer Circle.  I think they made a charming look!

The temperature outside dropped again, but I'm warmly wrapped in fashion with my finds from [Phunk] and Womanity at the Flawless Cart Sale!

The Fishermans Sweater from [Phunk] is fabulously created and richly detailed!  I decided to pair the sweater with the fetching mesh leggings I found from Womanity at the Flawless Cart Sale.  This outfit is perfect for keeping out the cold on chilly days! Plus, if you are feeling in the mood for color, both the sweater and the leggings are color change via a HUD!

My other find for the outfit was the unique unisex necklace from [Phunk]!  The necklace includes a HUD, which is very easy to use, for personalizing the necklace to your taste and mood!

Dear Readers,

     Thank you for your prayers and well wishes while I have been away to be with my grandmother and family.  Sadly, my grandmother passed away on January 25, 2014 from pancreatic cancer.  It was difficult to watch her slip away from us; however, I was given the opportunity to tell her that I loved her before her passing.  Not everyone is given that gift.

Tempting Treasures from Designer Circle

I am so excited to show you the treasures I picked up at Designer Circle!  There were so many tempting creations; however, I limited myself to just a few items today.  Of course, I'm certain I will return soon to pick up the other items which caught my eye and show them to you!

Amarelo Manga at Designer Circle tempted me with the classic design and detail of the Luara dress and matching boots!  The creations are sold separtely for only L$100 each; however, I am certain you will want them both as they coordinate so well! Plus, the boots will be a perfect addition to your fall wardrobe!

I also found the lovely Delora shape from Anna Shapes at Designer Circle!  As always, the shape is beautifully created and exquisite in porportion and detail! The shape is copy and modify, and it is available for only L$80!

A Productive Shopping Trip!

Before I tell you about the exciting creations from several fantastic creators, I wish to briefly explain my being away from SL for such a long time.  As some of you know, I went on a short vacation with my husband that ran over by a few days; however, during the trip, a close family member fell very ill and I have been away from SL since that time to be with family.  I thank those of you who have contacted me out of concern, and I am deeply touched.  

Now, to shake off the dreary RL information, I want to share with you the wonderful creations I found during my recent shopping trip!  

My first stop upon my return was the SYS Project to do a little freshening up!   I found the Mary skin and shape for only L$99 from WoW Skins at the SYS Project!  My delight continued when I found the Starley Revolution skin from Dulce Secrets at the SYS Project for only L$99!

Fitting a Soft Mood

Today I was in the mood for softness.  My mood was met with lovely finds from Tameless Hair at the Hair Fair, Callyscloset, and The Muse Poses!

If you like to shop while supporting a wonderful cause, you will want to take time to visit the Hair Fair event which supports Wigs For Kids!  In the photos below are two of the five styles available from Tameless Hair at the Hair Fair!  You are sure to love Sylvia which includes the color-change flowers, and the darling ponytail style named Peony!

Ready for the Beach?

Don't you enjoy those days when you decide to devote the day to relaxation?  Of course, what better way to relax than to take a trip to the beach?

I strolled a few beaches and received several compliments on my bikini from Amarelo Manga!  The eye-catching design and gorgeous, bright colors of the Meaipe bikini were also perfect for showing off my beautiful, sun kissed tan from WoW Skins!

My beach look was also made possible by Tameless Hair with the June style!  June is recent release, and I think you will agree it is a lovely style for a relaxing day at the beach!
