New Favorites from Immerse

Every time I stop by Immerse, there is always a new release calling my name.  As I had been offline for several weeks, there were several new releases which beckoned me to purchase them.  Of course, I'm not one to ignore the call of fantastic fashion!

The first release which called to me was Belladonna.   I fell in love with the softly feminine style which is paired perfectly with the charming floral pattern.  I couldn't resist wearing a tiara from Artistry by ~E~ because I really did feel like a princess in the gown!  You'll be thrilled to know that Belladonna gown is available in eight separate colors, so you are sure to find your favorite color!

Another release I added to my wardrobe was Tai.  It was very difficult to choose between the eight separate color variations; however, I finally chose the Xiaoqin Xian Green dress.  Oh, and if you are wondering about the color description, each dress bares the name of a famous Chinese woman along with the color.  So, you can enjoy the beautiful dress and also be inspired to learn more about an admirable woman!

The last newer release which called to me was the gorgeously versatile Julie. The creation allows three skirt options which are a sleek mesh, mermaid mesh, and a flexi mermaid skirt.   Julie is available in teal, pink, peach, and grey!  Believe me, you are sure to want all colors of this lovely creation!

SL Buddy Walk -- Charming Creations for a Cause

If you have not attended the SL Buddy Walk, you will want to make time in your day to stop in at the event.  The event is being held to help raise funds and awareness of Down Syndrome.  There are creators from across the grid who have generously placed items for sale in which 100% of each sale will go toward the SL Buddy Walk!

The first items I want to show you are from Immerse and Stars!  Though not a donation item, I had to show you the Savannah gown.  The extremely lovely gown will make you feel like a princess with the full skirt, lush fabric, and charming detail!  While you are at Immerse's booth, be sure to pick up the fantastic casual outfits from the vendors which will donate 100% of the sale to the event!

I chose to pair the Savannah gown with the exquisitely elegant Unity jewelry set from Stars!  As you can see in the photo below, the detail of the Unity Set is wonderfully delicate.  The entwined hearts are a perfect symbol for the event, and also beautiful reminder for everyone once the event is over. 

Also shown in the above photo is another look at Amacci's creation for the event.  The stunning Emma skin is available in Nutmeg and Pale!  

The next set of items I want to show you are fabulously charming!  The modifiable prop from KaTink is another wonderful symbol for the event.  As you can see, the prop allows for three people to pose.  Alas, I didn't have another two people online who had time to pose for a photo; however, there is a beautiful photo of the prop at the KaTink booth!

The photo below shows a closer look at the darling Ans Dress from Ryuukou.  The creation is perfect for the days spent exploring in SL!  You can dress it up with accessories, or wear it without adornment for your casual events with friends! 

I've also given you look at another superbly created lipstick from Pink Acid!   The Silk Lips and Teeth set includes eight colors to draw attention to your luscious lips!  Also, be sure to pick up the Mildred Lips and Teeth set while you are there!

Cold Winter Nights Hunt -- Don't Miss Out!

I have some more goodies for you from the Cold Winter Nights Hunt!  I'm still in awe of the designers for the prizes they have created for this hunt!  They really put their hearts into making fantastic gifts for the hunters!

Ego Co. Event -- Around the World

Though the Around the World event, presented by Ego Co., ends November 29th, you still have time to visit!  To inspire your travel, I'm showing you a few of my favorites from Amacci and Alice Project located in Asia Minor of the event.

While I was exploring, I was in awe of the hair, skin, and shape creations at the Amacci booth.  My eye was especially caught by the Niina complete avatar package!  I think you will agree the Niina shape, Nuiko skin, Look eyes, Amore lingerie, and Mai hair is an exquisite combination!  And yes, you are able to purchase the items from the package individually at the booth!  

I also fell in love with several of the hair creations I found at the Alice Project booth.  I've chose three of the longer styles that came home with me from my trip to show you!  I really adore the color options from the Infinity packs, and the HUD for choosing the colors is extremely easy to use!

STAND 4 LOVE

As some may not be familiar with STAND 4 LOVE, I'll begin this post with the following quote from the STAND 4 LOVE website:  
"STAND 4 LOVE is an awareness charity project to promote the visibility and rights of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Straight loving couples to have the right to marry and be recognized by the law across the world. It will be a picture campaign in Second Life to spread awareness and promote equality and tolerance."

I won't copy everything because I want you to visit the website to read more and view the campaign photos thus far.   After reading the information, I hope you will participate, or lend your support however you are able.

Like many people, I am joining this campaign because I have friends in SL and RL who wish to marry and are unable because the government dictates that they cannot marry a person of the same sex.  I am standing with those who are working to change this intolerable situation. 

The inability to marry isn't just about a commitment on a piece of paper.  It is a right that is being denied, and it effects so many aspects of a person's life.  For example, someone was actually turned away from seeing her partner in the hospital because only immediate family members were allowed to visit.  Had they been married to the patient, there wouldn't have been a question.  That is just one example of how the right to marry effects a person's life.  How can we sit and allow injustices like this to happen? 

Well, I am not going to sit....I am going to STAND 4 LOVE.  I invite you to search your heart, and to do the same.
